District Transfers
INTER/INTRA DISTRICT
REQUESTS
If your residence is not in the West
Valley attendance area (Cottonwood or Happy Valley) but you want to
register your student in West Valley High School, you must follow
one of the two procedures below:
1. INTERDISTRICT TRANSFER REQUESTS:
(From your present school district to our school district)

You must request, complete and return
an Interdistrict Transfer Request Form to your school of residence.
The school of residence is the school that is designated as your
school of residence based on your physical address.

The district of residence will either
approve or deny your request.

If approved, the form will be sent to
West Valley High School.

West Valley High School will then
approve or deny your request.

If approved by our high school, you
will be notified by our staff and a counseling appointment will be
arranged.
2. INTRADISTRICT TRANSFER REQUESTS
WITHIN THE SAME DISTRICT: (From Anderson High School to West Valley
High School)
The following needs to occur if you
live within the Anderson Union High School District boundaries.

Pick up, complete and return an
Intradistrict Request Form from the Anderson High School
Principal's Office.

If the AUHS Principal approves the
Intradistrict request, he will send it to the WVHS Principal for
his review.

Once a decision is made, you will be
notified by our staff. If approved, a counseling appointment will
be arranged.
Even though you may be planning to move
into the WVHS attendance area by the opening of the next school
year, your student cannot be enrolled without prior approval. If
you have any questions regarding Intradistrict or Interdistrict
Agreements, please call the
